I'm A Rock Star!

It appears its been a great day for rock star strops (well actually this all happened last night but you know.)

Eagles of Death Metal were promptly thrown off the new Guns'n'Roses tour after just one date for 'upsetting' the crowd. I say upsetting but of course Guns'n'Roses fans are not so kind to a support band they'd rather see on the floor resulting in EODM's set containing many a flying liquid. Just in case the band hadn't got the message Axl then came on saying;

"So how'd you like the PIGEONS OF SHIT METAL? Don't worry, that's the last show they're playing with us."

How Nice. Luckily Eagles of Death Metal have a sense of humour about these things and responded with this well thought out statement (through Blabbermouth);

"At first the audience refused to welcome us to the jungle, but by the time we took our final bow, it had become paradise city. Although Axl tried to November rain on our parade, no sweet child o' mine can derail the EODM night train. We say live and let die."

Genius.

Elsewhere in the States ...And You Will Know Us By the Trail of Dead had a disturbing night as they treated fans to a short set after guitarist Kevin Allen promptly collapsed (apparently several times) and continued to throw up on the drum kit.

How lucky it must have been to be a ...Trail of Dead fan that night. Some people even had time to video the whole incident (don't worry its not too queesy) here.

Today ...Trail of Dead posted a new blog entry but alas no mention of the disaster. Maybe they had problems remembering eh?
Either way they're solidering on- ill guitarist or not.
Then lastly Elton John was forced offstage after almost vomitting on the front row of his audience in Australia.

What a disgusting story...

The mighty Eagles of Death Metal are wasted on those knuckleheads. I saw them at the Electric Ballroom a couple of months ago and they rocked so hard, it could have killed a man. Maybe.
