Unwanted News Story of the Day

Since their quick rise to the indie fan's favourite group in 2004, Arcade Fire have been trying to control their internet fanbase ever since. After handing over website duties to the fansite www.arcadefire.net and providing fans with updates as to their latest recording duties it appears the band seem to have mixed dealings when it comes to computers as they accidently uploaded the wrong song onto iTunes in the US yesterday.

After fans realised that 'Intervention' was in fact 'Bad Wave/Bad Vibrations' downloads began to increase rapidly. The band however simply sat back and admitted defeat, claiming this had all happened incorrectly at the press of a button.

Now fans are being asked (quite kindly at that) to donate money to the charity that the 'Intervention downloads' were initially going to help, the Red campaign.

If you download this please take the time to visit www.arcadefire.com and make a donation.
