Unwanted News Story of the Day

You'd think after 10 years most viewers would have got to grips with Never Mind the Buzzcocks. A bit of banter, occasional music and usually a little jest with the guests. Thats what makes it the winning formula that it is. Yet Ordinary Boy Preston doesn't seem to have grasped this concept as he stormed out of the live filming due to the genius Simon Amstell mockeries of his wife, the blonde bimbo Chantelle.

When Amstell read out a passage from said bimbo's autobiography Preston was said to have uttered some dicey words to the Popworld host before leaving, such as "snotty little posh boy" Ooh Eer.

Yet it appears from this statement that Preston wasn't quite sure which show he was on,

"people just go on it and they just take this public fucking stoning"

Isn't that the whole point? Whats even more bizarre about this story is that Preston was interviewed on more than one occasion by Amstell on Popworld with his sarcastic humour and didn't bat an eyelid, meaning its taken him over a year for the penny to drop.

But the show went on (with a Preston look a like) and we're all truly sorry that we didn't get to see little Preston's face as the row of Paris Hilton impersonators made their entrance.

Of course Amstell hasn't commented on the events, probably because he doesn't give a flying fuck.

Buzzcocks is back in a couple of weeks, huzzah!
